But Delainie Koehler and Gabriella Catuara from Oswego felt they had enough things and wanted to help others instead. Delainie’s younger sister Madelyne had learned of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Kendall County from a neighbor who is an advocate. She suggested that Delainie and Gabriella select CASA for their charity.
The girls decided to donate their birthday money to CASA. CASA are volunteers who go through special training to advocate on the best interests of abused and neglected children in court. The birthday girls notified their friends of their intentions, had a wonderful birthday party and raised almost $1000 to benefit CASA.

What makes them so awesome: Their heartfelt concern for others is rarely seen in kids their age.
