OSWEGO, IL — Want to sip wine while supporting community events? If so, wine ticket packages are now on sale for Oswego's Wine on the Fox, returning for the 13th year Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5 at Village Square Park, near Oswego Village Hall in an effort to avoid downtown construction. According to the Village of Oswego, this year’s Wine on the Fox will take place rain or shine from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 4, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. May 5, featuring the best Illinois wines, and wines from Spain, Italy, California and other locations.
Celebrate the return of spring at the family-friendly event, as there will be food vendors, live music from Wild Daisy, Cadillac Groove and other fan favorites, in addition to children's activities, according to the Village.

The Illinois wine industry has exploded in recent years, the Village said, joining the ranks of other famed wine-growing regions. While you're enjoying the spring event, you're also supporting Oswego event programming and community amenities throughout the year, including Fourth of July fireworks, Movies in the Park and other fun for Oswego families. According to the Village, these are made possible because of the contributions of Wine on the Fox sponsors, participating businesses and attendees.
