Christmas Walk may be gone, but there's plenty to see and do around Oswego this weekend

Though last weekend's  covered just about every corner of town, this weekend still holds lots of holiday activities for the family to enjoy.

Friday, Dec. 10

The  event runs from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10 and runs all weekend. Saturday, Dec. 11's times are 2-3:30 p.m., 3:30-8 p.m., wrapping up Sunday, Dec. 12, from 2-3:30 p.m. and 3:30-8 p.m.  Registration is required at Boulder Point Center. The North Pole is .

Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove is at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, in the school's auditorium at Route 47 and Waubonsee Drive. The Jazz Ensemble show will feature alto saxophonist Richie Cole as a special guest. Call 630-466-7900, Ext. 2500, for more information.

Saturday, Dec. 11

 band and choir students will present the annual holiday Crystals concert this weekend with performances at 5:30 and 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 11, and 2 and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12. The performances will be held in the school's auditorium. Tickets are $6, and can be purchased by calling 630-636-2076.

Treat your pet to a little Christmas spirit at the  from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at the shelter, 802 W John St, Yorkville. The open house will include door prizes for your furry kids will be available along with a silent auction, refreshments and Santa Claus.

 will host the Storm Dance Alliance Studio production of the Nutcracker ballet at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12. Families are invited to this performance of a holiday classic. Tickets are $11.

The Holiday Express, A Miracle on 34th Street, Crystals concert, Nutcracker performance and Little White School Museum craft event all have times scheduled for Sunday.
