Alsip Man Killed By Freight Train

James P. Augustyn, 48, was crossing the train tracks down the street from his home on the 12300 block of South Kostner Avenue Monday night when he was struck and killed by a train, reports the Sun-Times Media.

He was pronounced dead on at the scene.
