Unofficial vote totals for the CHSD 230 and Palos Dist. 118 school board races.
PALOS-ORLAND PARK, IL — The 230United Party candidates emerged victorious in Tuesday’s CHSD 230 Board of Education election. Nine candidates vyed for four open spots on the board.
The top vote-getters were Susan Dalton (12,704), Mark Kelly (12,200) Nadine Scodro (10,466) and Christopher Kasmer (10,059).
The Inspire230 candidates – Tim Danlow, Mark Martinez and Lukas Verzbicas, finished at the bottom of the lineup.

CHSD 230 includes Stagg, Sandburg and Andrew High Schools.
Over in Palos Elementary Dist. 118, which includes Palos East, Palos West and Palos South Middle School, five candidates battled for four seats on the school board. The top vote getters included:

Susan Szafranski - 2881 (23.28&)
Jennifer Marie Jensen - 2605 (22.62%)
Timothy Baker - 2660 (23.09%)
Kevin T. Quinn - 2425 (21.05)
The other school district races – NPSD 117 and Palos Heights Dist. 128 - were uncontested.
