District 230 Seeks To Fill School Board Vacancy
Apply by October 10 for the opportunity to serve on District 230's School Board.
Consolidated High School District 230 is accepting applications to fill a School Board vacancy following the recent resignation of a Board member.
Individuals interested in serving by temporary appointment must complete an application and meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a registered voter
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of appointment
- Have lived within District 230 for at least one year prior to applying
- Be legally eligible to hold the office

The selected candidate will serve on the Board until the April 2027 election.
Applications are due by 4 p.m. on Friday, October 10. Candidate interviews may be held in mid-October, with the final appointment to be made at the Oct. 30 Board of Education meeting.
