Local Teen Inspires CureSearch Pediatric Cancer Research Benefit

Gina Tabascio was just 16 years old when she was diagnosed with cancer. Now, one year later she is celebrating. The community is invited to attend a pediatric cancer research fundraiser. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Curesearch.

The Marist High School student wants to give back and raise money for cancer research. 

The event will feature food, a DJ, live band, raffles, an open gym, face painting and chair massages. From noon until 6 p.m. on April 10 the doors will be open at St. Constantine & Helen Church in Palos Hills.

Tickets can be purchased at the door. Adults are $20, children ages 6 to 18 are $10,  and children five and under are free.   

You can also donate DVDs for children at Hope Children's Hospital. (No rated R movies.)
