'Experience Matters:' Former Mayor Baca Endorses Milovich-Walters

PALOS PARK, IL — As a former Mayor of Palos Park, I understand the unique character of our Village and therefore the unique challenges that are encountered by our elected officials. It takes an individual who has served on the various boards and has addressed these challenges to take the reins as Mayor. This year, that individual is Nicole Milovich-Walters.

Nicole has served our Village with distinction for 16 years. She fully appreciates the complexities of annexations, lot line disputes, requests for variations for building purposes, rezoning requests and other sometimes contentious issues. She understands the need to take both long-range planning and immediate neighbor considerations into account when facing these requests.

No one person can accomplish anything without a great team. Nicole has assembled a team with over 50 years of experience serving the people of Palos Park. For over almost 20 years, Nicole has shown the ability to organize, to delegate and to participate in group efforts towards common goals. This has ben all in the spirit of public service and not at all for personal gain. These are the qualities I support for our next Mayor.
