Free COVID-19 Testing Event Planned In Palos Hills

City of Palos Hills residents who want a free COVID-19 test are invited to get one this Saturday at a community testing event.

City of Palos Hills residents who want a free COVID-19 test are invited to get one this Saturday at a community testing event on January 16.

The City of Palos Hills Public Works Building located at 7860 108th St which can be accessed by heading east on 108 St off of Roberts Rd will be the site of the Roseland Community Hospital testing event from 9 a.m. til 1 p.m. (or until supplies run out) on Jan. 16. Registration is not required for this event; it is a first come, first serve program.

All testing will be conducted on a drive through basis and is free to any resident; whether you have symptoms are not. You do not have to live in the City of Palos Hills to be tested.

The event is being provided through the New Roseland Community Hospital in a partnership with the City of Palos Hills.

The State Department of Health emphasized that COVID-19 testing is a one-time assessment that only reveals if a person is infected at the time of the test.
