Hold Up By Drive-Thru at Crestwood Portillo's
A Crestwood restaurant was held up earlier this week

In a brazen crime, an employee was held up while working the drive-thru of a popular Crestwood restaurant in the early evening hours of Nov. 5.
Around 6:05 p.m. a man approached a Portillo's employee who was standing outside in the restaurant's drive-thru line taking orders and money, police said. The man pulled out a 6-inch silver revolver and pointed at the employee and said "give me the money," police said.
The robber got away with $80, police said. Just prior to the incident, Crestwood police responded to a call about a suspicious person at a store in the 13100 block of Cicero Avenue, police said. The man in that incident matched the description provided by the Portillo's employee.
