Indiana Man Charged In Liquor Theft

PALOS HILLS, IL — A Gary, Ind., man is facing charges over a theft that occurred last month. David J. Robinson, 29, was charged with burglary and theft.

On Sept. 20, Palos Hills police responded to a report of a retail theft Sept. 20 at Avalon Food and Spirits, 10307 S. Roberts Road. A store associate to told officers that a man, later identified as Robinson, walked into the store and started grabbing bottles off the shelf, police said.

About $650 worth of alcohol was stolen. Police said Robinson was taken into custody on Oct. 13.
