The most pressing issues facing our board are parking in our business district , safe streets and business development and recruitment have street driver awareness program increase speed monitoring and get business owners more involved on their specific need or wants to succeed.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I can’t really say, at the time my opponent has no record other than a parade director and a dedicated mom, I’ve never seen her at a committee or council meeting but seems like a personable person.

To continue to help as part of the council to provide services and make the city flourish
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have secured funds and grants for improvements around the city. I have served as past chairman of public safety, planning and zoning. Currently serving as chairman of Roads and Construction
Why should voters trust you?
Well, I like to think because I do my job. I’m honest and tell the truth. “As my mom said, ”it’s easier to tell the truth than remember a lie “
If you win this position, what accomplishment would make your term in office as a success? Umm, I’d love to see an outdoor ice rink for the kids, but mostly want the city to flourish and prosper in all we do.
What are your views on fiscal policy, government spending and the handling of taxpayer dollars in the office you are seeking?
Have a fiduciary responsibility to taxpayers, be with budget, no frivolous spending, and no pet projects.
What are your thoughts on the crime rate in your community, and what more can be done to combat crime — especially violent crime — in Palos Heights?
Well, we are one of the safest communities in the southwest suburbs. Our police force is unrivaled. Working with the department, we have many new safeguards in place to protect our residents
What is your view of the city's/village's approach to commercial and residential development?
Welcome it.
When it comes to development, what are some key areas for improvement or additions you feel are most wanted by residents? What will need to be done to make this happen?
Retail always a plus but more avenues for shopping eating and medical services hard to compete with online, but we need to try harder.
What city policies do you believe need updating or sunsetting? Explain why.
Policies how some zoning case are handled and property limitations as to setbacks, building, etc.
Should there be term limits on municipal boards? Why or why not?
All depends. If the administration is moving in the right direction, no.
Is there any reason you would not serve your full term of office, other than those of health or family?
Not at the moment but one never knows
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I have the experience and am a veteran. I’m open, honest, caring and want the best for Palos Heights.
