Warm Drinks, Treats And A Visitor From The North Pole Kick Off 'Lights In The Heights'
Treats, warm drinks, music and a visitor from the North Pole kick off Palos Heights' dazzling holiday light display Friday, Nov. 28.

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Welcome the holidays the Friday after Thanksgiving, when the switch is flicked on Palos Heights’ holiday light display, “Lights In The Heights,” on Nov. 28.
Gather at Memorial Park at 76th Avenue and College Drive near Palos Heights Municipal Hall for the kickoff from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 28. The lights will be on from dusk to dawn throughout the holidays.
The Palos Heights Arts Commission has commissioned Artistic Holiday Designs that designs artistic light displays in community art and business districts to install a dazzling display of light sculptures perfect for selfies and family Christmas card photo ops.

Live holiday music will be provided by local community groups. The Palos Heights Fire Department will also be bringing a very special guest from the North Pole on a fire truck.
