New Car Purchased Online With Palos Hill Resident’s Stolen Identity

The resident noticed a loan taken out on their Capital One account, Palos Hills police reports said.

PALOS HILLS, IL — A Palos Hills resident near 109th Street and Southwest Highway said a loan was purchased on their account for a new vehicle they didn’t order, reports said.

The resident told officers they saw a vehicle loan on their Capital One account on March 3. When they contacted the Capital One fraud department, reports said they were informed that someone must have stolen their identify and purchased a vehicle online.
