Orland Park Rotary Offers Scholarships for Area High School Students

ORLAND PARK, IL — The Rotary Club of Orland Park is offering scholarships to graduating seniors of area high schools who reside within Orland and Palos Townships, and students from Palos Heights attending Alan B. Shepard High School.

A one-time scholarship of $2,500 will be awarded to eight students who are academically strong (minimum GPA of 3.2), have demonstrated leadership qualities by participating in community service and school activities, and have financial need. All applicants must be accepted by an accredited college, community college or university.

All scholarship recipients are required to attend a meeting of the Orland Park Rotary Club for the purpose of meeting club members and sharing their plans for the future. Winners who fail to attend one meeting before September 1, 2025, will forfeit their monetary awards.

The application period opens February 1 and closes February 28, 2025. Applications are available at https://forms.gle/P8agSsVP4PuGsUPi6 and must be completed and returned by midnight February 28, 2025.
