Palos Heights Kicks Off The Holidays With Local Shopping Event
Palos Heights businesses organized a shopping event that will provide a free trolly service to local shops.
While the big box retailers and crowded shopping malls might get the most attention around the holidays, a group of local Palos Heights shops hope to shine a light on the myriad shopping of options in town.
Thursday evening from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. local retailers urge you to shop your neighborhood stores during the "Home for the Holidays Shopping Event." The event features a free trolly service, carolers and gifts at each location.

Reckinger says Palos Heights is unique in the wide variety of locally owned shops in town and she hopes the event will make people aware of all those places they might have passed, but never stopped in.
