SUNDAY, NOV. 27
DUI on Harlem Avenue
Jacek Stopka, 40, of the 6800 block of Forestview Drive in Oak Forest, was charged with drunken driving. He was stopped at 2:57 a.m. in the 13600 block of Harlem Avenue and failed all field sobriety tests, police said.

Hits Car, Drives Away
Victoria Zbonski, 21, of the 12400 block of 70th Avenue, was charged with drunken driving and leaving the scene of an accident. At 3:20 a.m. Zbonski hit a vehicle in the 12400 block of 70th Avenue and continued driving, police said. She was located about a block away from the scene and subsequently failed field sobriety tests, police said.
DUI on Southwest Highway
Sergio Gonzalez, 25, of the 7900 block of McVicker in Burbank, was charged with drunken driving. Gonzalez was stopped for speeding in the 11100 block of Southwest Highway at 2 a.m., police said. He failed field sobriety tests, police said.

DUI on Southwest Highway, Part 2
Kyle Rarrat, 21, of the 6800 block of Hickory Street in Tinley Park, was charged with drunken driving and driving without insurance. He was stopped at 12:31 a.m. in the 11100 block of Southwest Highway and failed field sobriety tests, police said.
FRIDAY, NOV. 25
Never Had a License
Daniel Ramirez, 31, of East Lorraine in Addison, was charged with driving without a license or insurance. Ramirez was stopped for having a burnt out headlight in the 12700 block of Harlem Avenue, police said. It was discovered that he has never obtained a driver's license.
SATURDAY, NOV. 19
Driving With Pot
Robert Twitchell, of Harnew Road in Oak Lawn, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, no proof of insurance and improper lane use. He was stopped at 2:02 a.m. after he almost struck a road barricade in the 13000 block of Harlem Avenue, police said. He was given field sobriety tests and failed, police said. He was found to have less than 2.5 grams of marijuana, police said.
FRIDAY, NOV. 18
Vodka On The Run
Michael Sutter, 18, of Jewett Street in Woodstock, was charged with retail theft. Sutter hid a bottle of vodka under his jacket and walked out of Dominick's, 6401 W. 127th Street, where he was detained by security, police said.
Wanted on a Warrant
Kevin Burke, 26, of Vero Beach, FL, was stopped for not wearing his seatbelt and having expired registration, police said. It was then discovered that Burke was wanted on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance, police said.
THURSDAY, NOV. 17
Has Pipe, Not Valid License
Joseph Bratko, 21, of Magnolia Drive in Crown Point, IN, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license and failure to wear a seatbelt. He was stopped at 10:17 p.m. in the 6300 block of College Drive for not wearing a seatbelt, police said. Police smelled marijuana and Bratko admitted to having a smoking pipe, police said. It was also determined that he was driving on a suspended license.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 16
DUI on Harlem Avenue
Shawn Jones, 21, of the 14600 block of 82nd Avenue in Orland Park, was charged with drunken driving, transporting open alcohol and failure to wear a seatbelt. Jones was stopped at a seatbelt checkpoint and officers detected a smell of alcohol, police said. He failed both a field sobriety test and a breath test, police said. An open container of liquor was found inside the car, police said.
Pot Possession
Robert Kacys, 26, of the 6800 block of Ridge Point Drive in Oak Forest, was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kacys was stopped for having an obstructed rear light at 7:52 p.m., police said. A small amount of marijuana was found, police said.
TUESDAY, NOV. 15
Cocaine and a Handgun
Morton Burton, 33, of Hammond, IN, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance. Burton was stopped because his passenger was not wearing a seatbelt, police said. Burton's was driving on a suspended license and during a search of his car police found 5 grams of cocaine and a .38 caliber special handgun with live ammunition, police said.
