Palos Park's The Center Offers Pumpkin Days, Playland Through October

The venue offers hayrides, a spooky woodshed, haybale climb and an open farm where visitors can see goats, chickens, cows and other animals.

PALOS PARK, IL — After a successful opening weekend of the season to close out September, The Center, a locally-run, faith-based ministry venue, will continue with its annual Pumpkin Days throughout the month of October.

The Center, which is located at 12700 Southwest Highway in Palos Park, offers plenty of autumnal family-friendly activities including a Pumpkin Playland. The area includes open barns, where visitors can commune with chickens, goats, cows, sheep, and other animals.

The Farm is also offering hayrides, a spooky woodshed, a haybale climb, a corn box, a crazy maze, and a U-pick pumpkin patch.

The farm will be open in October on weekends from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. (Friday-Sunday). There is a $12 admission fee for visitors ages 2 and older. The farm will also have its Pumpkin Playhouse open on Columbus Day.
