Sack Of Money Stolen From Vehicle: Palos Police
A bag of money containing $87,000 was stolen during a car burglary in Palos Hills.
PALOS HILLS, IL — Surveillance video showed someone stealing a sack of money from a parked vehicle on Oct. 8, according to Palos Hills police reports.
The burglary to vehicle happened near 106th Street and Harlem Avenue. Police said surveillance video showed a gray SUV pulling up next to the targeted vehicle. The unknown person got out of the SUV and broke the vehicle’s driver’s side window and opened the vehicle.
After rummaging around inside, the purported burglar grabbed a sack of money containing $87,000 cash. The person got back into the gray SUV, which was last seen heading north on Harlem Avenue.
