Alternative Routes Announced For Autumn In The Park Festival Parade Street Closures
Police are reminding drivers to plan ahead as several local streets will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 20, to accommodate parade traffic.
PALOS PARK, IL — Palos Park police have announced road closures for Autumn In The Park Festival Parade this Saturday, Sept. 20.
McCarthy Road (123rd Street) will be closed between 94th Avenue and 80th Avenue 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. for the Autumn In The Park Festival Parade.

The parade will start at 1 p.m. (please note the new time) and steps off at 82nd Avenue on 123rd Street in Palos Park and travels westbound to 90th Avenue, ending near the festival grounds at 8901 W. McCarthy Road.
Alternative routes for east-west traffic will be Route 83, 119th Street, and 131st Street. North and south streets will also be affected, police said 80th Street will be open, 86th will be closed, and 87th & 88th will be closed at 123rd. 81st, 82nd, 83rd, Mohawk, and 93rd Ave. are closed at 123rd.

Motorists are asked to make plans in advance to deal with the closures as part of the festival parade.
