This Week's Pets: Spirited Kittens Ready to Play

What's better than a kitten? How about two?

A pair of 4-month-old kittens were recently dropped off at PAWS Animal Shelter in Tinley Park.

Mittens and Spencer are about a week away from being ready for adoption. The wonderful people at the shelter need to arrange for a final shot for the black-haired cats before they can go out to a new home.

The cats came to PAWS after the previous owner gave them up due to allergies.

Both like to play and, as you might expect for young cats, are energetic. Spencer, especially, likes to chase balls around.

Potential adopters don't need to take the pair together; the kittens are young enough to adopt separately.
