Work on 131st Street Nears Completion
IDOT says they are almost finished with the resurfacing project.

Traffic might be flowing a bit more smoothly in the Palos area as the 131st Street resurfacing project comes to an end.
A spokesman for IDOT says the vast majority of the work on the project has been completed. All that remains to be done is some cleanup and final striping.
Drivers can expect some daytime lane closures for the next few weeks as the last phases of the project are completed. The resurfacing of 131st Street from Southwest Highway to Harlem Avenue was paid for by IDOT and totaled $685,945 in cost.
