• Pedestrian, 65, Dies From Injuries After Being Struck By Car: Police (patch.com) — Park Ridge residents are being urged to contact police with any information after 65-year-old local resident Katherine Baransky died from injuries sustained when she was struck by a car at Cumberland and Peterson early Saturday morning. The Park Ridge Police Department’s Major Crash Unit is investigating the fatal collision, and no charges or citations have been issued so far.
