The future of Peoria is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders like Alexcia Smith, who are making a positive impact in and around Peoria.
Alexcia is a standout young leader, recognized for her academic excellence and dedication to her community. In 2023, she was a Sterling Merit Award recipient while enrolled at Quest High School in Peoria. Alexcia was also one of six recipients of Bradley University’s prestigious Hometown Scholars award, she earned a full-tuition scholarship, highlighting her exceptional achievements and potential.
Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, Alexcia demonstrates both strong leadership skills and a commitment to making a meaningful impact. Alexcia’s recognition by Bradley University affirms her as a rising leader, poised to make a difference both on campus and beyond.
