Go For One Last Swim At The Ottawa Street Pool On Tuesday

PLAINFIELD, IL — Swimmers have one last opportunity to take a dip in the Ottawa Street Pool – the pool will close for the season after open swim on Tuesday.
Plainfield residents can go for a swim from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Plainfield Park District's Facebook Page. Residents without a pool pass can pay $5 to access the pool, and non-residents can pay $7.
Tuesday should be a fairly nice day for swimming – temperatures in Plainfield will reach a high of 84 degrees, with partly cloudy skies, Weather.com is projecting.

The 278,000 gallon L-shaped outdoor pool is located across from the Recreation/Administration Center near downtown Plainfield, according to the Plainfield Park District website. It is equipped with high and low diving boards and contains lap lanes.
Parents can bring their young children to a 3,000 gallon enclosed tot wading pool, and non-swimmers can sunbathe on deck chairs or eat lunch at the facility's picnic area.
