I-55 Pavement Repairs Happening Saturday In Will County

WILL COUNTY, IL — Residents can expect moving, intermittent lane closures in both directions as the Illinois Department of Transportation completes pothole patching and pavement repairs on I-55 between Route 126 and Route 52 on Saturday. Weather permitting, the work will be done between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area, IDOT said in a release. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
