Girl Scout Enthusiast Community Award awarded to local elementary school

Ridge Elementary school in Plainfield, and Mr. Don Piper of Ridge Elementary School, were awarded the Girl Scout Enthusiast Community Award today for their ongoing outstanding support of Girl Scouting at Ridge and within Plainfield. The award was presented by Leader, Lifetime Member, and Troop Leader Wendy Cortes. “Through several administrations, Ridge Elementary has shown consistent support to Girl Scouts who attend Ridge, and the entire Plainfield Service Unit. We appreciate their support and recognize them as a leader in the Plainfield Community” quoted Dr. Cortes. Girl Scouts in Plainfield are supported by Service Unit 715 and Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana.
