284-Unit Luxury Rental Community Sixteen30 Welcomed To Plainfield With Ribbon Cutting

PLAINFIELD, IL — A luxury rental community comprising 284 apartments was officially welcomed to Plainfield with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Nov. 1.

Representatives from Wingspan Development Group, which oversaw the project's development, joined Plainfield officials, including Mayor John Argoudelis, to celebrate the grand opening of Sixteen 30, at 14750 S. Wallin Drive.

Sixteen30 offers a mix of studios and one- to three-bedroom apartments — ranging from 600 to 1,500 square feet — that cost between $1,485 to $2,850 per month. Apartments feature 9-foot-tall ceilings, walk-in closets, an in-unit washer/dryer, keyless entry and high-speed internet, among other things. Most units also have a patio or balcony.

The property is composed of eight neo-farmhouse-style buildings laid out around a 7,500-square-foot private clubhouse, fitness center, bocce course and resort-style pool. Some of the amenities on the grounds also include shared work-from-home offices and conference rooms, a pet spa, a pool, and separate dog parks for big and small dogs.

Wingspan representatives said "pent-up demand" for luxury rentals in Plainfield has resulted in high leasing numbers, with 80 percent of units leased as of mid-November.
