Plainfield 2025 Consolidated Election: Who Filed For Mayor, Trustee
The terms for Plainfield mayor and three trustee seats are expiring next April.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Top elected seats in Plainfield could shuffle come April, as the terms for mayor and three trustee positions are up for election.
The mayoral role, as well as Village Board seats currently held by trustees Patricia Kalkanis, Cally Larson and Tom Ruane will be up for election April 1, 2025. The current elected officials, all voted into office in 2021, will remain in their roles until their terms end April 20, 2025.
The four positions are valid for a four-year term.

At 9 a.m. Nov. 12, when filing began, incumbent Mayor John Argoudelis, former Trustee Kevin Calkins and current trustee Margie Bonuchi submitted petitions for the position of village president, or mayor. Peter Adamson, Siv Panicker, Vanessa Sula and Ruane filed for trustee positions.

On Monday, the final day of filing, current Trustee Cally Larson filed at 4 p.m. for president, and Nicky Giannasi filed at 12:08 p.m. for the role of trustee.
