Plainfield HS Grad Attacks Student, Staffer At High School: Cops
Izak Ramos of Joliet is accused of entering the high school, making his way to a gym class and battering a student.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A Joliet teen faces two counts of felony aggravated battery and other charges after Plainfield police said he trespassed at Plainfield Central High School, where he attacked a student and a staff member. Police said officers responded to Plainfield Central, 24120 Fort Beggs Drive, at around 9:54 a.m. Friday after staff notified the school resource officer that a male suspect was fleeing the building after battering a staff member.
Plainfield patrol units stopped the suspect, identified as Izak Ramos of the 1800 block of Maserati Drive, Joliet. Investigators learned that Ramos, a Plainfield Central graduate, entered the school and made his way to a gym class, where he battered a student before attempting to flee. While fleeing he encountered and battered a staff member, police said.
Neither victim required medical treatment, according to police.

Ramos is also charged with criminal trespassing to state supported property and possession of cannabis with intent to deliver. He was taken to the Will County jail.
