1,200 Without Power In Plainfield
The Plainfield Police Department is available as a warming center. The cause of the outage is under investigation.

PLAINFEILD, IL — With a wind chill advisory in place and forecasts estimating wind chills of as low as -25 degrees, ComEd is reporting a widespread power outage in the Village of Plainfield. According to Plainfield police, the outage is affecting the northwest portion of the village.
Though police said there was no ETA for power restoration, the ComEd outage map said the estimated restoration time is 9 p.m. Around 1,283 customers are without power, according to ComEd, and the cause of it outage is under investigation.
The Plainfield Police Department, 143000, is available as a warming center for those without power.
