BATAVIA, IL — Traffic signals are being installed this week at the intersection of Prairie and Wilson streets in Batavia, officials said Tuesday.

Drivers should expect delays as a result of the project. The new lights are set to be activated on Nov. 18, officials said.

A portion of Prairie Street is also set to close Thursday due to "repairs," officials noted in an alert Tuesday. Northbound lanes are shut down between Wilson and State streets. Work is expected to last five days, and during that time, traffic will be directed to use Van Buren Street as a detour.
