65-Year-Old Romeoville Man Charged with Aggravated Battery

Also, police report $21,000 worth of pallets taken from a business on the 700 block of Theodore Court.

The following incidents were reported by the Romeoville Police Department and the Will County Sheriff’s Office:

Jan. 10: William H. Herring, 65, 416 Arnold, Romeoville, was charged with aggravated battery. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Dec. 28: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 700 block of Saybrook. Unknown person(s) threw a rock through a window of the residence and a window of a vehicle parked in the driveway. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $400. Time: 1:45 a.m.

Dec. 30: A burglary was reported in the 700 block of Theodore Court. An estimated 3,000 pallets were taken from the business by unknown person(s). Estimated value of the pallets is $21,000. Time: 11:20 a.m.

Jan. 1: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 1600 block of Lavender Drive. Unknown person(s) used a sharp object to scratch the paint of a vehicle parked in the driveway. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $300. Time: 12:34 p.m.
