ROMEOVILLE, IL — The ongoing decorative lighting project in Romeoville is now coming to Murphy Drive. Seventeen new LED decorative light poles will be installed and 24 existing aluminum, non-decorative poles will be replaced. The project will stretch along Murphy Drive from Route 53 to Volunteer Park.

“These lights are brighter at night and more attractive looking during the day,” pointed out Mayor John Noak. “It’s part of our ongoing mission to find ways to increase the beauty and safety of Romeoville.”

The decorative lights can already be found along Arlington Drive, Town Hall Drive, Alexander Circle, Phelps Avenue, Belmont Drive and Dalhart Avenue.
