ROMEOVILLE, IL — While the Department of Health and Human Services recommends about 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity — like walking — every week, most American adults don't come anywhere near that mark. Adding more exercise to your daily routine remains a popular New Year's resolution, and luckily Romeoville has plenty of great places to get out and walk.

The Village of Romeoville Recreation Department says all its public parks are open from dawn until dusk. Disorderly conduct, littering, alcohol and skateboarding is all prohibited. Dogs must be leashed, and residents are asked to not to touch or feed wildlife.
