Illinois School Report Cards: Here's How Valley View Did
See how many schools in VVSD were rated exemplary, commendable and underperforming.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) released its 2017-2018 Illinois Report Cards at the end of October, rating one Valley View school "exemplary," 16 "commendable" and two "underperforming" as measured by the new Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
ESSA replaces the No Child Left Behind act and assigns the designations based on 10 indicators or performance including student growth.
Jane Addams Middle School in Bolingbrook was the only Valley View school designated exemplary. Oak View and Wood View elementary schools, also in Bolingbrook, were rated underperforming.
