ROMEOVILLE, IL — Celebrate the grand re-opening of the Pipeline Skate Park at Volunteer Park on Sept. 4.

The ribbon cutting will be held at 2 p.m. at the park, 1100 Murphy Drive. The Village said the skate park will be open to ride right after the ceremony.

The Romeoville Village Board approved the skate park construction earlier this year. The plans included entirely replacing the old skate park, which had reached the end of its useful life.
