Romeoville TCF Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested: Police
In cooperation with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and using surveillance footage, police on Thursday were able to identify suspect.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — The suspect in a bank robbery in Romeoville on Wednesday has been apprehended by the Romeoville Police Department.
The TCF Bank inside the Romeoville Jewel-Osco store at Weber and Taylor roads was targeted in an unarmed robbery at 9:45 a.m., police said.
In cooperation with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and using surveillance footage from the incident, village police on Thursday were able to identify the vehicle used to flee the robbery.

"Investigators from the Romeoville Police Department and agents from the FBI were able to locate the offender as he left a residence. The offender is currently in custody of the Romeoville Police Department and charges are pending the conclusion of the investigation," police said in a release.
Deputy Chief of Police Brant Hromadka told Patch the man's identity will be revealed Friday.
