Romeoville Board Honors Local Restaurant On 20th Anniversary

Mayor John Noak said the restaurant has been a "big part" of the community.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — At its Wednesday meeting, the Romeoville Village Board celebrated one local business for its service to the community over the past 20 years.

Fat Ricky's operates its Romeoville location at 646 N. Independence Blvd. The restaurant also has a location in Plainfield.

"We wanted to commemorate Fat Ricky's 20th anniversary of serving our community," Mayor John Noak said. "They've been a big part of it. Many celebrations, many events, many fundraisers."

Noak said the Village wanted to thank Fat Ricky's for all those memories and "many more to come."

Fat Ricky's offers "authentic Italian cuisine," including pizza, calzones, pasta, Italian beef, Italian sausage and more.
