Romeoville High School 2025 Football Schedule Released

ROMEOVILLE, IL — In just a few short weeks, Romeoville High School football players will be taking to the field for the first game of the 2025 season on Aug. 29.

The IHSA Football State Finals are scheduled to be played on Nov. 28–29, hosted at Hancock Stadium on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal. According to IHSA, the Class 1A-4A title games will be contested on Nov. 28, with Class 5A-8A following on Nov. 29.

The nine-week regular season will determine the 256 teams that qualify for the IHSA football playoffs.

In Romeoville, the Spartans are coached by Justin Trovato, and the team finished the 2024 season with a 4-5 overall record. Romeoville is part of the Southwest Prairie Conference east division, which includes Joliet Central, Joliet West, Plainfield Central, Plainfield East and Plainfield South.

• Week 2: 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, home vs. Tinley Park (non-conference)
• Week 3: 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, away at Plainfield Central (conference)
• Week 4: 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, home vs. Plainfield North (non-conference)
• Week 5: 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, home vs. Joliet West (conference)
• Week 6: 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, away at Oswego East (non-conference)
• Week 7: 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, home vs. Joliet Central (conference)
• Week 8: 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, away at Plainfield East (conference)
• Week 9: 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, away at Plainfield South (conference)
