Route 66 Monument Unveiled At White Fence Farm In Romeoville

ROMEOVILLE, IL - The 20th official Route 66 Shield Monument has been installed at White Fence Farm in Romeoville, according to a release from Heritage Corridor Destinations. This 20th monument marks a major milestone in the growing network of photo ops along Route 66.

These vibrant 3D Route 66 shield sculptures have become fan favorites for travelers and road trip enthusiasts, offering picture-perfect moments that celebrate the nostalgia and charm of America’s most iconic highway, Heritage Corridor Destinations said.

The initiative started in 2022; with Heritage Corridor Destinations working with communities along Route 66. The interactive monuments stretch from Berwyn to Pontiac.
