Stolen Gasoline, $10K Hand Tool Heist: Romeville Police Reports

Feb. 12, 6:42 a.m.: A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of Lakeview. Unknown person(s) broke into two parked vehicles and took an estimated $10,000 worth of various hand tools.

Feb. 12, 8:47 a.m.: A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Key Largo. Unknown person(s) entered a vehicle that was parked in the driveway and took two pairs of sunglasses and a wallet.

Feb. 13, 12:08 a.m.: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 400 block of Belmont Drive. Unknown person(s) damaged tires and windows on six parked vehicles.

Feb. 15, 6:39 p.m.: A retail theft was reported in the 400 block of North Independence. A person drove off without paying for $50.98 of gasoline.

Feb. 17, 5:11 p.m.: A retail theft was reported in the 400 block of North Independence. A person drove off without paying for $42.72 of gasoline.

Feb. 18, 7:53 a.m.: A burglary was reported in the 800 block of West Crossroads Parkway. Unknown person(s) took a gas furnace valued at $348.00 from a trailer that was parked at the dock.
