• Des Plaines Man Arrested After Undercover Drug Buys (hoodline.com) — Rosemont police worked with Cook County sheriff’s investigators on an undercover probe into suspected drug sales across the northwest suburbs, which led to a major raid in Des Plaines. Officers say they seized about 47 pounds of cannabis, a firearm, and other items tied to distribution, and a 31-year-old man is now facing multiple felony charges while presumed innocent as the case continues.
