An Invitation Has Been Extended
The Center Kicks Off Thursday, November 3 At The Table
We are excited to announce that after two and a half years of meeting in driveways, living rooms, backyards, and parks, we have been invited to sit at The Table and make it our Thursday night home!
The Table is a church in Joliet led by Pastor Nate Smith, a new pastor in the area settling here from Indiana.
The Center and The Table are collaborating to reach teens and young adults in the Joliet community to connect them with God through: fun gym time, a meal together, live music, an inspiring message, small groups, and prayer.

The Center is a nonprofit organization that has a rich heritage and deep roots in the ministry of The Christian Youth Center which began in Joliet more than 50 years ago with Harv Russell as its director. In 2013, The Center was born out of that ministry and has been making a profound impact in the lives of teens and young adults. Kelly Corcoran is the current director.
In early 2020, we were holding our meetings in Joliet when Illinois shut down due to the pandemic. The Center began a building search for a good fit while the building remained closed.
