Car Chase, Gunfire and Violent Crash Leaves 2 Teens Hospitalized

One of the teens was ejected from the car when it flipped over and rolled.

Two teens were hospitalized following a wild car chase that ended with a violent crash.

One of the 16-year-olds suffered a broken femur in the Monday evening wreck near the corner of Oak Avenue and Briggs Street outside Lockport. He was taken to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox and then transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. The other 16-year-old stayed put at Silver Cross.

Will County deputies investigating the crash were told the blue Saturn the two teens were riding in was being chased by a silver car just before the crash.
