Curious Teen Goes to Check Out Gunfire, Gets Shot in Shoulder: Cops
The teen heard gunshots and went to see what was going on, police said.

A curious teenager was shot in the shoulder after he went looking for the source of gunfire he heard Monday night, police said.
The 15-year-old was in a Fairmont Avenue alley when he heard shots ring out about 8:40 p.m. He decided to investigate, police said, and he cut between two houses to get onto Fairmont so he could see what was afoot.
A newer-model white pickup truck sped at the teen and he turned on his heel and made a run for it. He heard more gunshots and took a bullet to his shoulder blade.
