Last Chance, Shorewood! Set Your Leaves Out by Saturday for Springtime Pickup
Have you placed your pickups on the parkway yet? There's still time.
SHOREWOOD — If you haven't set unwanted springtime leaf collections in your parkway yet and want them hauled away, you'd better hop to it before Saturday.
March 31 is the final day for Shorewood's Spring Leaf Collection Program, according to a village alert. Pickup efforts started on March 20 and require residents to place their leaves on the parkway and not in the street.
"If leaves are placed on the parkway after the village crews have gone by, they will not be picked up until the next day," the notice said, adding that Saturday is residents' last chance.
