New Shorewood Business Reveals Grand Opening

SHOREWOOD, IL — The Plainfield and Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce will gather on Monday, Jan. 29 to mark the ribbon cutting event for the opening of a new Shorewood business. EMediate Care Quick Care constructed a new building in front of the Chicken-N-Spice restaurant at the busy corner of Route 59 and Jefferson Street.

According to marketing manager Amanda Smith, "our urgent care facilities offer a wide range of services from illnesses with same day testing, injuries with X-Ray and laceration services readily available, physical exams, pediatric care, immunizations, occupational health services, preventive care and more."

In addition, Smith said the new location for all ages at West Jefferson Street in Shorewood will open on Monday, Jan. 29 and that EMediate's pediatric location at 1039 Brook Forest Ave will open on Jan. 31. The pediatric urgent care location will stay open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily for anyone 21 years old or younger.

"We also have locations in Joliet at 1508 Essington Rd open 7-7 daily and North Plainfield at 11914 S. RT 59 open 9-9 daily," she explained. "We have one Best of Will County for Top Medical Facility 6 years in a row, and we most recently won 2023 Will and Grundy Countys Top Work Places Awards in several categories."
