Shorewood Community Skating Rink Opens For Winter Season

The rink, which is located at Cene's Four Seasons Park, offers skating opportunity seven days a week and will bit lit for evening skating.

SHOREWOOD, IL — Local residents looking for some winter outdoor activity this holiday season and beyond can now take advantage of a new Shorewood community ice rink, which opened to the public on Thursday.

The rink, which is located at Cene’s Four Seasons Park, which is located at 25520 Seil Rd. and will be open for public skating this winter, village officials said on Thursday. The rink is located on the northeast corner of the baseball diamonds at the park and parking is available on Wynstone Boulevard and also in the lot Walnut Trails when school is not in session.

The rink will be open from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, village officials said.

Skating for the public will be weather dependent and conditions may change daily, village officials said. The venue will feature an open and closed sign as well as posted rules for the rink, which will be lit at night.
