Shorewood Veteran Known For His Faith, Loyalty And Lifelong Service
Charles W. Betts, a Desert Storm veteran and former Master Sergeant, is honored for a life grounded in faith, loyalty and service.

Retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Army, he is a veteran of Desert Storm. He is also retired as a State of IL employee and also a retired military/security instructor at Joliet Job Corp. He is the oldest son of nine children, currently the chairman of the trustee board at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He enjoys antique shopping also.
